What Can You Expect From This Course?

To help you on your journey to becoming an international educator, we’ll provide thorough videos, guides, timelines, and an opportunity to meet and discuss the process with other candidates going through it. You’ll build a network of others in the same position so that when it’s time to look for your second international posting, you’ll have an even more extensive network of contacts to draw upon as you find the perfect school and city for you!

In our course on how to become an international teacher, we will cover:

  • Setting Goals: Knowing WHY you want to move overseas to teach is an essential first step in helping you focus your search and get started.
  • Navigating Important Questions:
    • Am I qualified?
    • What personal considerations must I consider as I look for international teaching jobs?
    • What professional aspects should you consider as you explore a new country and job?
    • How will I plan for the financial aspects of moving and teaching in a new country?
    • And Many Others!
  • Preparing for Your Search: You want to be the best candidate you can be, and we’ll help you ensure your profiles, resumes, and online presence are up to snuff!
  • Recruitment Agencies: There are many recruitment agencies, but do you need one? We’ll review the different agencies and help you decide which suits you best.
  • Finding & Contacting Schools: Finding the “right” school can be tough so we’ll help you align your goals with schools and places. We’ll also help you craft letters to contact prospective schools.
  • Job Fairs & Interviews: An international school recruitment fair can be an intense experience. We’ll help guide you through what to expect and how to best nail your job interview.
  • Evaluating Offers: Once you’ve got offers, we will provide feedback on the pros and cons, discuss worries with you, and much more!

Our goal is to guide you from getting yourself ready to teach abroad to the moment you sign that first contract! Our courses and accompanying guides will help prepare and present yourself as the best possible candidate.
